Hi
Just heard today that Santander have upheld my complaint and sent me an offer of £647.73. I telephone them on the 28th February which they logged as a complaint on the 2nd March. 8 weeks toda exactly. I took out a mortgage with Abbey Nation through a broker in 2007. I was advised due to my lowish income I would need to take at the insurance to help with my application for a mortgage. I was advised I could cancel at any time which I did eventually. Im please wiht how Santander dealt with particuarly as I can see from other links that some banks have referred customers back to brokers.
Good luck to everybody else trying to calim
