Transferring recorded TV files to new HDD

I am replacing my Technosonic PVR101 80gb HDD with a 250gb Maxtor tripling the capacity. I have already checked that it works and can record. I have copied the contents of the 80gb to a folder on my PC using the utility SIGMA to mount the drive, as I want to transfer the recordings back onto my new 250gb.
The problem is that, due to SIGMA being read only, I cannot write to the mounted disk and transfer my existing recordings.
Without SIGMA the drives show up as unallocated in both XP and Win2k
Does anyone know how to mount the drive without the read-only setting?

Hey needaspirin,
I would try using Roadkil's Raw Copy (http://www.roadkil.net/RawCopy.html) to copy the raw image from the 80Gb drive to the 250Gb. This will bypass the problem of needing a special driver to access the drive's file format.
I'm not sure whether there'd be problems with copying a smaller drive image to a bigger drive. I reckon the worst that could happen is having to reformat the 250Gb drive and being back at square one...
Good luck & let me know how you get on.0 -
Thanks Shippers,
Partial success only I'm afraid. RawCopy performed well but when I put the 250gb into the PVR it showed up exactly as the 80gb with all my progs there and only 5gb recording space left available.
