    it might be - it all depends on how easy it is to get the cable from the pipe(stopcock) to the fuse board....

    It all depends on the length and complexity of the run. if he has to take up floor boards and drill through wall, then £120 seems fair. If the stopcock is situated next to the consumer unit, then possibly not.
    Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.

    thanks for ur replies. Stopcock is outside on the pavement and fusebox is underneath the stairs in hallway. i will get couple of other quotes.
