How about trying NIACE? It has lots of articles on current issues for adult learners that it might be useful to know about/discuss in your interview. its https://www.niace.org.uk
If you go to research/projects and choose a topic, it will lead you to key documents, projects, publications and links etc. I work in the area of Basic Skills/Adult Literacy and Numeracy and find it pretty helpful.
Good luck!

No, of course that's not what I meant! It's the bit about your spelling being rubbish and people not needing to read if they didn't like it that I meant. I was partly joking but it did seem an inappropriate tagline for someone planning to teach literacy.0 -

I'm assuming that this was meant to be a jokey comment? Hope so! The line is there, I assume, because a few people on mse complain about incorrect spelling and grammar, and this just gives an explanation.
Best wishes with the interview Freebie, no other advice than having a look on the websites already mentioned, or having a chat with your current tutors or the uni careers adviser.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

whem im on a chat forum i dont think its that important that i use 100% correct grammar and spelling and when im thinking and typoing fast, it sometimes comes out wrong and to be honest, life is far too short to spell check everything i write.
when i am doing my work for uni, (i am studying creative writing and SSR and got 70's last semester) i use correct spelling and grammar, likewise i will do this when teaching spelling and grammar.
and besides, when i went to see the admission tutor for the PGCE she was relaly keen for me to apply, so i think ill take her advice over your 'half joking' comments.:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
Having taught literacy and numeracy for many years (some time ago) I think that I have a right to an opinion. I said that I was joking about your career choice but I do disagree with your opinions as to spelling and punctuation being optional. The more often you use language incorrectly, the more you reinforce your mistakes. It's not a good philosophy to offer your students, many of whom will also not think that it matters very much. People with learning difficulties like dyslexia need to take more trouble, not less.0

and how exactly does that constitute advice for my interview?
and trust me i have absolutely no difficulties with learning, ive already learned today that youre a bit up yourself and have a really odd sense of humour.:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0
