Photobucket advice needed, please.

I opened a Photobucket.com account to upload and store photos of my new born grand daughter. I found it took a long time to upload but put this down to my poor BB connection.
Good so far but going on further is where I'm starting to struggle.

1, I want to order prints from my album but it seems that it is priced in $ US. Is there a way that I can order from a UK company?

2, is it possible to download my album to a CD to give to my daughter? I have sent her the link and my password to enable her to view but it would be nice if she also could order prints.

3, I did try to download but I ended up looking at a Zip File. What do I do with it? (Sorry but my old brain struggles with this PC lark).

Is it that once I have put the photos on Photobucket, I then can't do anything other than view them on that site?

I would be grateful for any help offered.
Norm

I'm pretty sure Photobucket is US-only, so you won't have a direct link to a UK printing service (I have a Photobucket account and the bill is in US dollars).

Assuming you are using Windows, you can double-click on the zip file and you will get the option to 'unzip'. Otherwise Google 'zip files' for more advice. There are free programs that will allow you to unzip your pictures.

Depending on which version of Windows you have (and that you have a CD writer in your pc/laptop) creating a CD is easy. Again, Google is probably easier than trying to give instructions here. There are loads of free programs to do this.

Once you have access to your pictures, there are plenty of ways of getting prints - easiest is probably taking a CD to Boots or wherever.

    Good luck

There are also multiple UK companies who will offer you your first set of prints free when you sign up (Snapfish is the first one that comes to my head, but there are plenty of others if you search around), although you will have to upload the photos again to each site - might be worth the effort for the freebie though ;)

Snapfish and photobox are the ones that spring to mind here. Photobucket only deals in USD.
