Well done SOCA!

But I wonder:

Were cardholdelrs informed by their card issuer that their card details had been compromised? Or did the card issuer wait until fraud was attempted on that card?

Has anyone out there been informed that their personal information has been compromised?

This raises the issue of who SOCA are accountable to the cardholder or the card issuer? As we've seen in recent TV programmes "Dont get Done, get Dom" and Watchdog 26/04/2012 -victims are picking up the cost of fraud where large sums are involved.

Anyway it's simple and easy to protect your personal details being used by fraudsters to apply from credit cards, get loans, open bank accounts, apply for mortgages etc.
