ppi bought though broker

Me and my husband bought ppi with Liverpool victoria when we were buying our first house. It was through a broker. Who should I contact to reclaim the money? We were told the usual its good if you are made redundant etc.... Thanks in advance

Why do you think you are entitled to your money back?

Would you have preferred to lose your home if you were made redundant?

More to the point, what is your reason for mis-sale? It isn't simply something you change your mind about 15 years down the line and decide you want your money back.

MPPI is a vastly sensible thing to have. And you need be sure you have a good and valid reason to complain, because if the broker acted correctly and there is every likelyhood that they did, then they will incur a £500 charge simply because the complaint is made and looked into. Not very fair if everything is above board on their part.

It is good if you are made redundant. What makes you think that is wrong? The alternative is that you could lose your house.

Given the lower levels of complaints about MPPI and even lower ratio of successful complaints against brokers (as they usually hold the audit trail that doesnt exist on other types of PPI) and that brokers dont auto payout on complaints, what would be your complaint reasons?
