I've come across it a couple of times and recently saw it advertised on the TV.
Does anyone have any thoughts about madbid.com please?

You spend money but there is no guarantee that you will end up with a product.

I think 'con men' is a bit harsh, I don't/haven't/wouldn't use it but they do do what they say. Some people can come off well, obviously most don't, but probably has better odds than the lottery or scratchcards. I think someone has termed it a "tax on the stupid".
