Best AAT Correspondance Course?

I'm currently in a good job, however it's only a 1 year contract. Just thinking ahead, I'm looking at changing direction, possibly into an accounting based occupation. I've been looking at AAT courses, bearing in mind I'm already employed full-time.
There are several different correspondance courses available online. Which, in your view, is a) most recognised as being good (ie. future job prospects) and b) best value for money?
Thanks in anticipation.

I would go to your local FE College, most do AAT and usually in the evenings, part time. Would probably be cheaper for you with likely better training & support than correspondance courses.0

A FE College is out of the question as I'm out in the sticks so there isn't a 'local' anything! I keep coming across Kaplan (?), are they any good?0 -

I studied with Premier. They are pretty good.0 -
I'd say go with Kaplan if no local college0

My colleague has used Home Learning College - So you can do your AAT remotely. Worth looking into - Hope this helps.0 -
You could try the AAT forum and ask the students there who they think is best.
Both Kaplan and BPP are good for classroom courses but I don't know if they differ in quality for distance or online learning.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
I also wanted to say that I know some people who aren't being funded by work find First Intuition cheaper than Kaplan and BPP, but again I'd check that to be sure.
With AAT you could just buy the books off a website or bookshop, study yourself and book your exams through the AAT and sit them in an open centre. Or if you want a training provider, have you thought about if you want online learning or just distance learning with tutor support? Do you want live classrooms or pre-recorded lectures you can view at your own time?Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Before you buy the books, please check as we have found that it is cheaper to buy a Kindle & download them as the AAT books are very expensive. Our students also then get a free Kindle thrown in, bargain all round.0

Great idea - I never thought of using my Kindle in this way (doh!). If you don't mind me asking but who are 'we'? Please pm me if you think you could be seen to be advertising as would really welcome your input.
At the moment my (albeit limited) research indicates that this could cost me around a £1000. I wouldn't be eligible for any discounts afaik.0
