Last month my next account was hacked and someone managed to place an order for some rather expensive sunglasses.
I spoke to next and they advised me on when I had to do to get this item removed from my account so I wouldn't have to pay for them.
I was unable to use my account whilst they were investigating the hacking but managed to log in today to try to pay off some items I had previously ordered, only to find the sunglasses still on my account.
I phoned again, worried I would have to pay for them, and was told they were still investigating but not to worry as it would be sorted.
A couple of hours later they phoned me back to say they are going to open a new account for me and waive the balance on my old one. So I now don't have to pay for items I acknowledged that I ordered. They have also put a password on my account so when an order is placed, either instore or online, they will phone me to confirm I placed the order myself.
They have been very helpful when I have phoned to deal with the hacking and I feel it was very generous of them to waive the balance of the items I did actually order.
Now I hope they catch the toerag who hacked my account and got away with the expensive designer sunglasses.
