Fill it in or not?

Hi, I've just received my renewal and need a bit of help. The form seems different this time. In Part1 "CERTAIN BENEFITS" I have put a cross in the income support box, it then says " If you have put an X in any box and you still get these benefits, please DON'T fill in Part 2, but go straight to Part 3. The problem is I receive Carers Allowance and this is included in Part 2. Surely they want to know that I receive CA and how much as that is one of the Taxable Social Security Benefits listed. I don't know if I am missing something obvious:o and I would be grateful for any advice. Thanks.
