Hello!
I've got years of stuff stored in Money 2005 but it's always had some irritating features that didn't work the way I might expect them to. Has anyone successfully moved from Money to an alternative and preserved their prior data? If so, what, and was it worth the move for you?
Thanks

Take a look at GnuCash and KMyMoney.
Both are Open Source and free. As far as I can tell, the former is a bit more functional, but the latter seems easier for ex-Money users to get used to.
Both are supposed to be able to import Money files.0 -
Hi, thanks I've installed GnuCash :j I tried it a number of years ago and found that it could only import QIF files. This still seems to be the case and Money's QIF export was a bit lame. I'll see what I can do with it though. GnuCash looks quite powerful but I'm going to have to spend some time reading the documentation to figure out how to set it up properly.0
