SMP Payments

Hi everyone, hoping someone can help me.
I have just recently gone on to "full" smp payments from my employer and I am getting confused.
I was on the reduction until March (before the rise in SMP) and was entitled to £128.73 a week.
My March's wage slip shows this:
Maternity Pay £570.09
How did they get that figure? - I get paid on a monthly basis (not sure if that makes a difference)
March had 4 weeks so I expected £514.92 - Am just wanting to check that its right and to try and figure out what I should be getting paid this month
Thanks!
Mimi

Looks like they have paid 31 days as March has 31 days in it.0

hi -when i got my first lot of smp i had the six weeks 90% all in one go which gave me a higher pay slip than expected. could this also be a reason? you should still get your payslips by the way- even if they are normally via workplace email, your work place should send them out to you if you can no longer access them0

As Chrisbur has stated the correct way to pay SMP is using a daily rate x days in pay period.0
