I have just listed a BIN item:
start date: Monday, 05 Mar, 2007 07:30:00 GMT
sale date: Monday, 05 Mar, 2007 07:38:18 GMT
8 minutes from listing to sale!
I obviousy need to watch my prices as I thought that would struggle a bit. I'm currently selling off old stuff to make room for new, so am pleased with the price received, but am quite stunned by the speed!

I can beat that:
eBay Listing Confirmed: 01/03/2007 11:40
eBay Item Sold: 01/03/2007 11:42
I guess I must have underpriced it.0 -
Had that happen to me too, I listed a retired piece from a collection and put it on at £65. (cost £60 new) anyway lady bought it immediately and then sent me a note with her paypal payment saying " Thanks for selling it at such a great price , they usually go for £100+ and I`ve never been able to afford one".
Needless to say, I was kicking myself that I hadn`t researched more !Debt Free Jan 2010!(Be happy) the state of your life is nothing more than the state of your mind! X:j0 -

8 minutes from listing to sale!
That's great!
I sold something once in about 3 or 4 minutes, but the fact that I had put the starting price of the auction into the BIN box by mistake might have had something to do with that!

Someone snapped up a bargian, getting the item for 99p instead of the £10+ it should have sold for. (Just to add insult to injury, they didn't even bother to give me any feedback! ) 0 -
i sold something 8 minutes after listing it as a buy it now, the feedback i received (can't remember if it was positive or neutral) said they were disappointed as it was smaller than they expected
i hadn't put measurements in the auction as i'd forgotten but the person could have asked before buying it!0 -
Erm selling something that quick means only one thing... you listed it too cheap.
Therefore its not a good thing.
Any buy it now older than 24 hours isnt a good deal becuse, traders and collecters will have already seen that listing and deemed it too dear.
Unless your selling something which isnt sought after anyway.0 -
"good grief that was quick!"
Mrs A says that to me quite a lot. :rotfl:0 -

As for selling too cheap..it's been listed before at less money, which makes it even weirder.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. That is quick!!
I had listed a Travel system a while back, took 6 hours to appear in the listings but sold 15 minutes after it did at its BIN price.
I gave it a relatively low BIN price as travel systems werent selling partically well at the time.0
