I bought a wooden noah's ark toy once as a christening gift.

There are currently 25% off codes around and its free delivery.
I have also bought wooden name trains before - where each carriage has a letter of the child's name.
Both gifts were well received
Just seen this post is from months ago and probably only brought current by a spammer?0 -
Hi I have been invited to a christening, its my friends baby. I have never been to one before and have no idea what to buy. Do you buy for the baby or for the parents?
You buy for the baby! Can't go wrong with a nice bible or hymn book. Write to/from and the date of the christening on the flyleaf.
I wouldn't bother with silverware or random keepsakes. Everyone seems to go for a silver moneybox and frankly most parents can do without the clutter (not to mention that silver needs to be polished on a regular basis).0 -

I went to a Christening last week and bought a wooden name train - for a six letter name I think it cost me £11, and it was really well received
