Composite Door and Windows quote or DIY
Options

Hi there,
I've received the quote below to replace our front door, back door and window and patio doors.
The windows need to have Rosewood/Mahogany affect on the exterior, which I've been told adds £'00s to the quote?
This quote seems quite high to me - any advice would be great.
I've also looked into the DIY Glazing options - is installing your own windows and doors really hard and not worth the hassle or a good way to save a good deal of money?
The quote:
To replace:-
Front door and side panel, rosewood on white frames with a green composite front door.
Back door and window, UPVC 1/2 glazed, 1/2 glass and window 1205mm x1047mm
French Doors in rosewood exterior on white.
All units to have the highest level of security features available including shoot bolts to the windows and secured by design door locks.
For payment in full on installation £3997 inc VAT.
Thanks,
Paul

Thanks for the reply Fusion Doors. Been on your site and the quote for just the front door is coming out about the same price of the door in the packaged deal I listed, so perhaps not as dear as I thought.0

Price isnt over the top less than 4k inc vat is it rosewood on white (cheaper than rosewood/rosewood) depending on the make up needed (if theres a electric cupboard behind your front door side panel etc) these things all add up. but its not a ott price.
Edit why not fusion doors come on to advise and offer opinion.
And welcome to MSE:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0
