Well I've decided to use my pc for playing games other than football manager so rather than mess about with keys/mouse or a joystick I was going to invest in a decent joypad but then found this nifty little adaptor that would let me use my ps2 joypads.

I'm looking to start playing games such as tiger woods, madden 2007 and getting a decent first person shooter and was just wondering if anybody had used them and if they do actually work etc.
I've been brought up on a diet of sega, nintendo and playstations so cant get used to messing about with keys, mice joysticks etc and if these converters are not worth it then can anybody recommend a decent joypad.

i have been using my ps2 joypad on my pc for about 8 months now....and most of the games accept it....far easier than trying to us all my fingers and toes on the keyboard0

Excellent i'll more than likely order one today. Could never get used to pressing w to go up, thats just plain weird. Give me a joypad any day of the week.0

I have been using the play.com version. £6.99 when in stock

For driving and sports games they are good, but 1st person shooters are much better on a mouse and keyboard, its the accuracy of the mouse that does it.0 -
I just bought a cheap PC USB gamepad, works a charm and you know you dont have to worry about compatability issues. That said, I guess such a gadget is useful for people who have ol' PS game pads round the houseDebt: a bloomin big mortgage
