Corset under wedding dress?

Is anyone else wearing a corset under their wedding dress? I have a corset wedding dress, but it doesn't seem to pull much in. I still have a little bit of baby belly that just won't seem to shift and was wondering about an underbust corset to suck it in to keep it flat.
Anyone else doing this?

I'm doing this. My dress has a button back, which I love, but I wanted the 'oomph' of a corset silhouette. I got my corset from Corsets UK, and it's fab!
You should prob check with your dress shop/dressmaker to make sure that it won't disrupt the shape/boning of your dress. Mine hasn't though.
PS I specifically got an underbust corset for this reason.0 -
I bought my dress on eBay so can't really ask anyone. lol. But it has a long body so I think it should be ok.
Yeah I've seen Corsets UK, their 3 for 2 doesn't work so I'm a bit sceptical about using them. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -

Watch them on twitter they pop up some real good deals on there and only ever heard positive about them0 -
My wedding dress was corsetted and pulled my tummy in pretty well...does your corseting not come down so far? You'd need to try it but do you not think you might get a bit hot with 2 corset layers going on? Have you tried magic knickers/spanx etc? Some of those hold you in pretty well and would be less bulky than a corset under a corsetted dress. I looked at those for mine, though Linda did such a great job with my corsetry I didn't even use them in the end, but I've worn them since under normal dresses0

My dress was lightly boned but very fitted, and I found that hard work by the end of the day.
I've also modelled a corset for my dress maker, and after wearing it for three hours I was close to passing out!
Having a corset under a corset sounds exhausting!0 -
Have u thought about some spanx?? i wore these for a few months after having both my children to pull me in and smooth the lumps and bumps until i lost the weight.they do all different types0

Yeah having a corset under a corset does sound like a mental Idea. It just meant i could wear sexy undies under the dress, but i've said to OH can i wear something like spanx and change later into them he said that's fine. Wants me to be comfy during the day more than anythingWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

Ive got a Jenny Packham dress and Im having massive underwear dilemmas...I was thinking of getting one of those ultimo body things that sucks stuff in and pushes stuff up..not quite a corset but love to know if anyone has tried it!0

I need tips on underwear too. My dress has a corset type thing underneath, and as a lace up does nip me in in the right places. But I am more worried about what sort of knickers to wear. French knickers or a thong I really don't know?! Something that isn't going to be seen obviously and not give a line if you know what I mean.
I think wearing two corsets will be very painful after a while!!Married my wonderful husband on 8/9/12 :j0
