  • Woohoo good news re the PPI's :T, I've had loans in the past......but don't have account numbers etc...so don't think i can claim. Mind you they were probably 8-10 years ago :o.

On a TV advert I saw yesterday, it stated that you can claim even if you don't know your account numbers. Might be worth having a look.

    Hugs to all.

Is there a time limit on reclaims? I don't think we've had a loan since DS' wedding 10 years ago....
Not feeling as if I'm firing on all cylinders - no reason really! Have washing and DW on at present. Have tidied kitchen and swept hard floors but now feel I need rest! Hmm - pobably just feeling lazy really!
DS still in hospital. Had scan on Tuesday but not sure what's happening now - I suspect he slept through yesterday's ward round!
DS and dogs out...so far in the dry! Doesn't look as if it will last though!
Have just been paid for tuition and appear to have too much...guess the tax is wrong again!! Need to see accountant when the P60s are issued as although it's nice to get rebate I certainly don't want a reclaim from them!
Hope all is well with everyone - big ((HUGS)) to those in need of one today. Hope you have a good day. Take care.

    Good morning Lovelies!

I'm new here but I've been lurking for awhile, hope you don't mind thought I'd actually post today.

Not much OS here today as it is our big spending day of the week,so shopping in 4 stores today and then free bingo this evening in the hopes of winning some pennies :)

As for PPI you should be okay claiming from 10 years ago, we are claiming for CC PPI from 11 years ago :)

Hope you all have lovely days and manage to avoid the rain! <3

    Morning all

Hope all poorlies and fed ups feel better today.

Flutterby your trip to Edinburgh sounds great. I think we stayed in that Travel**** some years ago.

Not raining here yet so I have the washing machine on. Have been playing radiator roulette with my washing for days now.

Dinner is cobb salad cos I fancied it but OH will need something extra as "a salad isn't a meal". Grrr! Off to boil a couple of eggs and potatoes now and I have cold chicken in the fridge and some rather nice imported blue cheese dressing. Mmmm

    Have a good day all.

    Morning everyone,

Hope you feel better soon nmlc and sistercas.

Tappers good luck at the dentist.

    Flutterby holiday sounds great.

Hugs to Jools, LW and Molly.

JackieO glad that your arm is getting better.

Sorry if I have missed anyone, have a hug if you need one.:D

I am at work taking a bit of respite from the constant exam preparation. Most of my classes are exam classes and there is a lot of pressure on them at the moment.
I also have DS doing GCSEs this summer so the pressure doesn't let up when I get home.

Tea tonight will be cooked by OH as he has a day off, I can't wait!

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

Was going to wish you all Good Morning but see that I am just too late.

Pegging away with the magazine but seem to have no energy or enthusiasm ATM. OS wise I am slowly starting to use food that's been in the freezer for.......oooooh...far too long. TL I haven't been doing the Fiscal Fast but I do read through it and just doing that has reduced my spending quite radically.
Today we have defrosted pork chops from somewhere in the dark ages, Potatoes from the bottom of the bag - sprouting eyes and soft but will do -, carrots left over from the weekend, a lone sweet potato that's been sitting on the kichen work top for a few weeks and some frozen peas. I bet you are all salivating!

    Back to work for me.

Finally..... I have an appointment to see the physio-terrorist about my shoulder. 15:30 on 8th May. Mr LW was able to get the appointment for me, as he now has his May rota, and he's got three Early shifts during May.

I'm scared as I really don't know what they're going to do to me, and I have a major problem with physical contact with other people.:( But I can't go on like this - I'm not sleeping with the pain - even Oramorph doesn't get rid of it. So I now have 12 days to stew about it. *rolls eyes*

    Yeah, I'm a grade-A wuss!:D

LW: Not a grade A wuss, just someone in pain who doesn't relish the idea of being messed about with. I would hate the thought too. I suppose the only way to look at it is. 'how much worse can it be?' There will be loads of support here to help you through the next twelve days. You know that

Well, we had our lunch made up of all the dregs hanging around the place. It was enhanced by the addition of some 'going brown but usable bits of green' cabbage. Also an onion which was fine, not old or sad or pleading to be put out of its misery - about the only thing that wasn't. It was a surprisingly tasty meal. Not the best I've ever eaten but far from the worst.

    Back to work.
