My 70 yr old father has just been diagnosed with Glaucoma, does anyone know if he is entitled to any benefits as a result of this diagnosis?
Thanks in advance!

I don't think there are any specific benefits - my mum has had it for years (she's 83) as it runs in families - if you are over 40 you will now qualify for a free eye test/glaucoma testing. Hope that helps .x0

Is it all types of eye test (e.g, for glasses) or just glaucoma testing ?0 -
You should get the whole eye test free.
Your father might be eligible for AA if he has care needs as a result of poor eyesight. Hopefully he will have been diagnosed early enough for his vision to be largely intact though.0 -
