Tax Gurus! Need your help!

Hi,

I've just received a letter from HMRC asking for a P60 for tax year ending the 5th April 2011 for a company I left working for in October 2008?!

They need to check if I've under or over paid? The thing is I don't have a p60 from that company as I wasn't with them in that tax year and the company now is out of business.

Does this suggest I may of overpaid? How do I respond to this?

Thank you for your advice in advance!

Phone them on 0845 3000 627 between 8am and 8pm and tell them the date you left that job.

Have you worked anywhere else since then that you do have P60's for?
You had me at your proper use of "you're".
