    Morning all xxx

Well I got in at 3:30 this morning.. and here I am !!

I haven't much in need to doing today.. maybe my bedroom and the children are doing the girls bedroom because it is disgusting!!!

I have to take DD1 into town to buy her some new bras. The little one has decided she will not wear nappies today.. so is using the potty.. I hate potty training!! Other than the absolute shock of someone (it was the guy who owned my mothers new dog) we saw last weekend in Coventry very suddenly died on Thursday all is bearable.. they were meant to be showing their dogs at Crufts this week and it is just so unbelievable! Never rains!!

Anyway.. washing up to date, DW up to date, we have bread and a clean kitchen.. quick swish round the boys room and maybe the front room and all will be done. I don't think I have EVER had so little to do on a weekend!! The weekend usually brings 2 days of total scrubbing and cleaning and making the house better so I can fly the rest of the week!!

Off for a cuppa and get DD ready to go shopping.

Oh.. I need to go buy the paint for the boys room as well.. I'll do that first as they shut at 12.

    Good morning everyone,

Not much to do today, out this morning as DS has football, and then as we are that side of the bridge, will be going to Mr Ts for shopping and petrol - aiming to go with a list so i dont spend too much.

Just need to put the stuff from the DW away (shouldve done it last night, but never mind) and hang out my washing one its finished (hope it does before we have to go out). I also need to have a shower and get dressed.

Plans for this afternoon - DDs room and dust upstairs.

Have a good day everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

How sad that he's passed away so suddenly. Must have been a big shock for you both.

My friend is up this weekend from London so we're off out for lunch with her and her partner today. I have a lot of studying to catch up with, some general housework from dailies list, shower and dressed, hopefully leave here about 1pm. I haven't seen her for a year so it'll be great to catch up, boys are looking forward to it aswell as she's another 'adopted aunty'. Will have to start painting tonight of course, then second coat tomorrow and carpet Monday. Ah good point I best check to see if the rollers I think I had already are there before we go out so I can get one if I need one.

Pigpen I'd love to join you, haven't had a girly shopping trip for ages, saying that I tend to get narked off with shopping and end up in a posh cake shop for some other therapy! Cakes and coffee :D When I used to drink would end the day in the bar and then try to figure out how to get the train home :rotfl:
I have a routine with shopping, go round and find things like, decide over lunch what to go back and buy, buy what I decided on, then cakes shop (then used to be alcohol) Metro Centre is stressful so need some sort of reward for coping!

:j Well done on 1000 posts and thanks, I think I need a new hobby as I just checked my post count
One day I might be more organised...........

    well done pigpen! enjoy.

my shopping will only be as far as the local market for veg and a few food bits from weigh and save etc.

i'm writing my sermon this morning, so i can have a chilled evening with a glass of wine in front of the TV! i have really found that flying in the house had made me much better at getting other stuff done on time - guess its just a general organisation!! helping a friend with wedding invites this aft, should be fun!

OH not here this weekend as he's running the Hastings half marathon tomorrow, i'm heading over to Hastings for a night in a hotel with him after i've done church tomorrow! :) but its quite nice to have a Saturday to myself for a change!!! and NO SKY SPORTS NEWS in the background :) hallelujah.

anyway, i'd better get on, someone already phoned and bent my ear for 25 mins!

lil_me, i also tend to do more sitting in the coffee shop than shopping these days!! since i gave it up for lent 4 years ago i've never really got back into the habit! i find all the people a bit stressful!! sometimes i buy stuff for the buying experience and then return it later cos i've decided i really don;t need many clothes!!!

i've got an easy list of bits for today but i'm going to post it to keep me on track:

shopping for veg, bits & bobs
    help friend with wedding stuff
    order / buy wedding present
    yoghurt maker on
    dry washing away
wet washing spin and hang up
    write sermon
    get expenses cheque
    pay in expenses
make soup with last week's leftover veg
