Cruise question

My dad likes to take the occasional cruise, is there a discount site that offers these like TR and LowCost for the 'package' holiday?

There are loads of cruise sites offering discounts and things like free parking at port or OBC....try cruise.co.uk or bolsover cruises or iglu cruise or ideal cruising...you just have to search to find the best offers...good luck !
  • My Dad also likes to cruise as he was at sea for 7 years!
We`ve been tempted a few times by fantastically priced cruises via travel companies, only to find they are inflexible and unhelpful after booking. Once they`ve got your money....

My suggestion would be to use a website like Cruisecritic, and if you see a bargain, check what the price is directly with the cruiseline - they all offer discounts for booking online. Princess Cruises have a good idea if you book a cruise with them including flights - if there is any delay with the flight they will sort it out, and even fly you on to the next port if you miss the port of departure :)
    Shy bairns get nowt ;)

there are very few real TA deals, most are cruise line deals with a little extra off.

Loads of sites promote the current offerings just need to get on as many mailing lists(email and/or snailmail) as possible.

Also track the cruise lines themselves.

flexability is the key to good deals.

All UK booked cruises with cruise air have ATOL/ABTA but often cruiseline air can be expensive.

TA's often repackage/resell cruises with air on budgets so chek the ATOL/ABTA status.

a good place to start building a list is travelzoo
