PPI claim MBNA and Barclaycard

I have received responses from the above two credit card companies and wondered if anyone else had similar problems and pursued further:
MBNA - because I filled in a form in a store and ticked the PPI box they are saying its an 'unadvised sale' and rejected my claim.
Barclaycard - despite having this card for close to 20 years they will only refund PPI payments from the last 6 years - a measley £123.00 Over the term of this card I must have paid 1000's but they have no obligation to keep records of my history past the 6 year mark.
Anyone think these are worth pushing further?
Thanks
Wendy
