Hi Guys
Does anyone know if there is a current cheap way to join National Trust? I know that there used to be a way by joining Scottish or Australian or New Zealand Trusts, are these still valid?
I am also a member of the military, does anyone know if they do a military discount for membership?
Cheers

Are you looking to save money or support the National Trust.
The cheapest is to join at the gate then cancel the direct debit when it appears on your bank account. You can do this once per 12 months and with the free weekend in March (last weekend) and the free weekend in September it gives you 3 weekends out for free every year and if you have a partner you can join in their name as a couple/family too and have 4 weekends per year for free.
Otherwise, online is the cheapest way if you would like to remain a member and help support the National Trust.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

I'm also looking to join the national trust via Quidco, but when I registered ,it just says go to the national trust web site and just buy as normal....can I trust that I will ever get cash back at all and how does that work?
Thanks!0 -
New Zealand historic places trust is cheaper than NT, and has reciprocal arrangements for free entry with NT, Scottish NT and English Heritage.0

I use TopCashBack, which I assume is the same as Quidco and it takes you to the NT website where you must make the purchase there and then, don't come out of NT and then go back in again at a later date. Cashback notification usually arrives within 24 hrs.0 -
