Hi all,
Could some lovely point me in the right direction of a a jvc camcorder repair company please.
I keep getting error message saying "please wait condensation" i have tried drying it out with a hair dryer,in airing cupboard and on a radiator but still no joy.
I would love to get it working again as i have stuff on tapes i would like to keep.
Thanks in advance

How old is the camcorder? It may be that its day has just come and that it is cheaper to replace than repair
If that's the case, you could get the tapes transferred to DVD on another machine. Do you know what format the tapes are? Mini-DV?0 -

Taken from http://www.techlore.com/forum/thread/13333/JVC-miniDV-GR-D30U--quot-condensation--operation-paused-quot-/i'm a tech and i'll tell you the secret. the moisture sensor is a little black square on the side of the drive motor. if you look directly where the tape goes in, the drive motor is in the far back left. it's partially hidden behind a silver pin hanging down from the black plastic cover that goes over the video head. take a long q-tip and dip it in glass cleaner(windex etc) and gently wipe it off. you should see a small amount of black guck on the q-tip. then remove power for about one minute and allow to dry. it's better to use air to dry it out.0

Have you tried taking the battery out and leaving the door where the tape goes open? Have you also tried with a hairdrier on the lowest heat setting?
I had better respect for JVC's products.0
