Cheap Toddler Passport Photos?

Hi,
Can anyone advise how we can get cheap toddler passport photos. I don't see how it is going to work in a normal photo booth as it would be pricey and our toddler would not sit still and would fiddle with everything.
I have heard people doing it themselves but really don't want to send them off only for them to be rejected.
Any advice would be great!
Thanks

If you take you own photo and go to http://www.epassportphoto.com then the site will help you re-size it and then you can either print at the site or the site will generate a pdf (for free) that you can take to boots, etc to get a print out.
We did this with our baby daughter having her lying on a white sheet - hopefully a little easier with a toddler!
You can also find a lot more details of suggestions on this other site:

Many high street photographic shops will take passport photos for the cost of about £3-£5, and usually guarantee that they will be accepted.
For my kids, I just laid them down on the floor on a sheet and took loads of snaps with a bog standard digital camera until we got one that met the criteria. Then we snipped it to shape and off it went ...0 -
Photographs for children aged six and over must meet the full standards set out in this guide. Photographs of children five years and under must show a clear image that is a true likeness of the child. As young children can be difficult to photograph, children aged five and under do not need to have a neutral expression or to look directly at the camera, but they must face forward. In addition to the exceptions above, babies under one year old do not need to have their eyes open (however it is preferable for eyes to remain open). All other standards must be met. If the baby’s head needs to be supported, it is important that your supporting hand cannot be seen. If you have real difficulty in meeting these conditions, you should visit a photographic studio rather than a photo booth.
And should be taken with a light grey or cream background0 -
Can't you just stick them in a desktop scanner and then save to a JPEG?0
