Hi,
I am after some advice as to how to make a web site accessible for visually impaired viewers. Is it enough to point out how to change the text size in the browser, have the option of another separate page or is there an easier way to achieve it?
Many thanks...Gracust

This RNIB link will point you in the right direction. RNIB LINK
Being visually impaired myself I like well laid out large print with high contrast colour schemes. Tips I would follow .....
(1) Make sure the web page text enlarges in a "tidy" way ie pressing CTRL++ in firefox. Alot of web pages get messy when text is enlarged.
(2) I would make sure you properly tag all your images so that people with little or no vision can tell there is a picture/photo there and what it is about.
That should keep you going and thanks for thinking about us!!!

Thank you for all of the advice.
Is there a piece of scripting I can add to the site that automatically enlarges the text size, So I could have a link that says LARGER TEXT etc.

I don't understand what you want the script to do on what input.
(Why have you posted your question twice? Now you've got two separate discussions running on the same subject).0
