D-link Ethernet card driver download

Hi
i need to download a driver compatible with windows xp for


d-link ethernet card 660

i have looked through drivers guide and found one compatible with win XP but once i installed it, there was no win xp option.

i would really appreciate it if someone could find me a driver

    You don't need drivers for ethernet in XP; the OS has native support.

    i have inserted the ethernet card into the laptop and it has been detected, now its asking me to install a driver and i have no installation disc or anything, i can however download a driver from the internet because i am using my computers wireless USB to access the internet, will windows update help?

    Try going to the manufacturer's website - http://www.dlink.co.uk/ Look under 'Technical Support' & put in the exact model of your card - there should be an XP driver for it (there are a couple of '660' model numbers). If no joy, contact their technical support for help.

    will this card help me go wireless?

    I have downloaded both and neither worked, the one on drivers guide, once installed when i click on install it does not have win xp in its options, thanks anyway


    should i just get a wireless USB or wireless card, if i get a wireless card do i put it into the slot where the PCI card is inserted?

    this asks me to insert disk1 into drive A
