Disability Cars

Hi all

Because of my son's disabilities we are entitled to a Disability car, for the past 3 years we have had a Renault Clio Estate(!) this year we wanted something bigger as our son is now 6 and needs a car to to grow into.
We looked at the Nissan Quashqui but as a deposit of £999 was needed we decided against it, after looking at several cars we decided reluctantly to go for a Renault Scenic with a deposit of £595
I have just received the latest mobility magazine and the cars have dropped in price drastically to the point that the original car we wanted the Qashqai is now £249,

My question is .... even though the Renault is due to be collected in the next 4 weeks can I cancel the order or am I tied to the Renault?

Jon

No idea, but you will probably get better answers in the Disability & Dosh forum.

Dont ask the supplier - they want to sell you a Renault.

Phone motab customer services. They have a vested interest in you getting the right car.

    The prices change every quater.
  • Motability offer price protection, which essentially means the price of the advance payment when you order the vehicle is the price you pay. This means you do not have to pay an increased price if it goes up, but likewise if they go down you still have to pay the original price.

However, you will need to speak to the Motability customer helpline on 0845 456 4566 to find out if you can cancel a current order. I think you possibly can, but not sure.
