I am expecting arrival of the capital 1 card shortly.
I currently use Amex as my main credit card and a Visa card for those who don't accept the former. I pay off both my cards in full each month.
I was hoping the Capital 1 card would work for SBT but am yet to establish whether it's possible. How do people suggest i do it....
Is it worth me transferring money via paypal to myself from one of my existing credit cards and then transferring this balance onto my capital 1 card??
Interested to hear your thoughts....

Without knowing what card your other VISA is, have you thought of writing yourself a credit card cheque to create a balance with? [fees may or may not apply, of course] Some card types don't charge cheque fees in addition to any interest for the time the balance is sat there. Mint is one [AFAIAA] Sainsbury is another. And Goldfish for certain dosen't carry a fee.

A friend, relative or partner with an Egg card ?... If you can arrange for them to 'superbalancetransfer' to you? - and then just get Capital One to balance transfer across 'from' their account - as the identity of the other accountholder is niether known nor asked for with balance transfers.

Know your credit limit before you arrange a transfer is a good idea, of course!

Hope that is of some help.
