Exchange and complete query

Is it possible to complete the day after exchange, or is a bigger gap required for money transfer, paperwork, or any other reason?

    Its actually possible to exchange on the same day as completion. If you need a short timespan, make sure your solicitor is on board with this.

    Just a word of warning on exchange/completion on same day - or very near to. My husband's friend lost his house purchase the day before exchange/completion when the vendor just pulled out and was left with no where to live (was renting) and is now kipping on a floor! Sorry for doom and gloom but please bear this in mind depending on your current situation.
