    Thanks for your help, I am going to go into my branch on Saturday and hopefully speak to someone that can help. If all else fails I will just have to pay as much as I can each month to clear it as quick as possible. Really want rid of any 'debt'.

    Yeah that sounds like a plan! Tell them you're considering changing to a classic account to help reduce your overdraft charges and hopefully you'll have better luck!
