Gutted as was gonna be a code cracker, just found out Excel starter does not support running macros on my laptop so cant join in. Good luck all you code crackers out there though.:-)

Oh, just read that you can only use IE - good thing I spotted that - hate IE but will open up a browser just for the cause then LOL! Am I right in assuming that we make the 8th code word slot blank rather than leaving the 'Leave this.....' text in it?

And can someone add my name to the list so that no-one else takes the range I said I'll check? I have set it to do 4675 - 4949 - thanks

I totally agree with you and I really don't think that SCAM is going to be a work (hopefully), however unless somebody is prepared to go through 5500 works and weed out the non-words then that is the best list I have seen to use.

Yes, I think you leave the 8th one as is and hopefully the spreadsheet will fill it in once the word has been found.
