Tesco Spam Emails

In the last few months I've clicked 'Unsubscribe' on all the spam emails I get, and have stopped receiving mailings from online shops I've used in the past.
I am still getting emails from Tesco Entertainment. This is despite repeatedly checking my subscription settings in my Tesco online account. I have also complained to them through the form on their website and somebody replied to say they had removed me from all mailing lists. That was a few weeks ago and I got another email today.
I know it's a minor thing as I can just delete the emails. It annoys me though as all the other companies I've unsubscribed from have managed the request just fine and Tesco seem incapable of cleaning their mailing lists properly.

I hate Tesco spam emails too but can't unsubscribe because I use Tesco online for my grocery shopping and like to receive their confirmation emails.
I just hit the delete button for all the others. (except for the occasional money off code emails)0 -
I would ask them to remove your details again.
I very much doubt that they are deliberately ignoring your request to stop emails.
If someone takes the trouble to contact them and ask to be removed it's very clear they are not interested and it would be stupid to annoy a customer so that they might stop using Tesco altogether which would cost them thousands a year if the customer in question had been using them for their main supermarket shop.
Tesco may not be perfect but they are not stupid. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
Its annoying but you can just set up an email rule to automatically delete anything that comes from Tesco. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Azari - I've done that once already and whatever they did obviously hasn't worked. I might try it one more time and then the auto-delete rule is a good idea.0
