Having a clearout and have come across a box of floppy discs. Was wondering what did you do with yours if you had any?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

I would put a post on MSE...
Or, if you still have the diskette drives, you could play a tune with them.0 -
Pass them to some Art Students - they are always looking for interesting items for various projects!Never let it get you down... unless it really is as bad as it seems.0

We still have ours - we had to get a USB floppy disc drive! The ones we have are necessary for our business and old software that has not been re-issued.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I kept a few to use with my USB floppy drive for repair jobs on the occasional machine that just refuses to boot from HDD, CD or network.
I turned a couple into small photo frames with photos of the kids in to go on my desk.
I saw a company on t'net somewhere that had run zip-ties through the write protect holes and turned them into pen holders and another one that makes them into small desk clocks.0 -
could use the actual disk as an IR filter for a camera.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0

I ripped them apart and cut up the disc's then chucked them in the bin. God it took ages, I had about 3 carrier bags full at the end!YNWA

I tried to recycle, and drew a blank. Ended up destroying them and putting with the general rubbish.
