Floppy Disks - what did you do with yours?

Having a clearout and have come across a box of floppy discs. Was wondering what did you do with yours if you had any?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

    Or, if you still have the diskette drives, you could play a tune with them.

    We still have ours - we had to get a USB floppy disc drive! The ones we have are necessary for our business and old software that has not been re-issued.

    I kept a few to use with my USB floppy drive for repair jobs on the occasional machine that just refuses to boot from HDD, CD or network.

    I turned a couple into small photo frames with photos of the kids in to go on my desk.
    I saw a company on t'net somewhere that had run zip-ties through the write protect holes and turned them into pen holders and another one that makes them into small desk clocks.

    could use the actual disk as an IR filter for a camera.

    I ripped them apart and cut up the disc's then chucked them in the bin. God it took ages, I had about 3 carrier bags full at the end!

    I tried to recycle, and drew a blank. Ended up destroying them and putting with the general rubbish.

    same with VHS tapes.
