Recieving email whilst on the move with a wireless laptop

Can somebody please tell me how to receive emails when moving around the country and using my wireless laptop.
Everytime I connect to a wireless network, I can recieve emails, but I am unable to send replies without knowing what the host ISP smtp address is.
Are there any services that I can subscribe to that give me an smtp address that I can use for my outgoing mail that works whatever ISP I am using?
Are they expensive? Does anybody have any experiences of them? Any recommendations?

I use my ISP's webmail facility rather than trying to set up a mail program. Go to your ISP's homepage & log in there. You can access & send your e-mail's without worrying about pop, smtp etc.0

If you use an HTTP mail provider such as gmail, lycos.co.uk, hotmail - all free. Outlook can handle it though it creates a seperate set of folders. Handy though as the e-mail stays on the server which is more secureNudge nudge, Wink wink, Say No More!0

try running your own SMTP server :
http://www.ocloudsoft.com/
doesn't always work with SMTP gateways that use a reverse DNS lookup though.
certain mail hosts will allow access via authenticated SMTP, which can help.0
