I have just came across my agreement for my car that i took out in 2003 - this ended in 2008.
And yes there it is in black and white £2074 PPI - so i am now planning to claim?
My question can I?

You can If you genuinely believe that you were mis-sold PPI, for example if you were working with great sick pay, redundancy options, life cover etc, or if you can prove you had sufficient means of paying the loan should you not have been working. My Blackhorse loan was from the same dates and I was refunded
(mine predominantly as it was 'frontloaded' - another mis-sell reason, if your loan payment was one payment and not 2 seperate this was probably the case)
This link is to the Blackhorse PPI FAQ's on thier website. Give them a ring and they send you the forms to fill in or you can use the easy templates on here. http://www.blackhorse.co.uk/Motor/ComplaintsFAQ.htmlShirley

I am not sure about this reloading!
Payment Protection Plan
Gold Cover
First Schedule - Total Cash price of goods
£8295 Total = 1187.20 APR 16.3%
Second Schedule - Cost of Payment Protection Plan = Amount of Credit
£2074.62 Total = £2930.40 APR 15.5%
Repayments
£244.21 x 60 months
Was definitely missold on the basis "you need to have it to get the car". Pushy salesman!!0 -
hi helen mine is exactly the same but I'm sure mine was under silver cover. I'd send them the info along with the letter and see what they say0

As willwba says send it all off, make sure you re-iterate the point you were told 'you need to have it'. If you have that in any kind of writing you will be laughing, if not sadly its your word against thiers.
Give it all you have though and good luck!

my loan with blackhorse finished in 2003, i have no paper work and halifax can't supply me with direct debit details.
Is this tough luck or can i still pursue it by providing addresses, reg number , dob etc?
Or a SAR?
Any help appreciated0
