I really need help

I was trying to reclaim a ppi from my bank. I received a letter from them saying it was a business loan then I had a phone call telling me it was a mailshot and we had sought advice. This is rubbish as I remeber the Bank manager told us we couldn't get the loan unless we took out insurance. I mean who would choose to pay? Is there any point in persuing this
