Hi,
Advice sorely needed or a shove in the right direction would be appreciated.
The Man of The House has just found in his dads loft, 4 airfix/matchbox models, unused in absolutely perfect condition. He thinks that there is a market out there for these items, they are approx 25 years old.
Is ebay the right place to sell this kind of thing? we have done searches for similar items and come up with nothing.
I found a website called toymart.com and they have lots of models etc for sales - has anyone experience of using this website to sell stuff?
The longer the MOTH has these, the more valuable they are becoming!!! Am considering ringing up the insurers to up the contents insurance in the house, just in case, lol
Anyone Suggestions / Experiences would be greatly recieved
thanks
Sarah

Sarah,
Suggest you Google the model numbers or descriptions on the outside of the boxes to see if they have been listed "as wanted" or "for sale". If they are in original condition in boxes they may be worth something to a collector. You could also pop down to the library and see if they have any Millar's (or similar) price catalogs for modern toys.
Hope this gives you a few ideas."Money is truthful. If a person speaks of their honour, make sure they pay in cash."0 -
Thanks a million!
I will investigate the Millars option and MOTH can do the googling!
