I'm watching it. She annoys the heck out of me.... the couple are interesting.

Can't afford kids' beds, but they can afford a new puppy and he smokes.

And they don't actually do any job hunting.

It all comes down to being good at interviews though ... and some of the stuff that had her p155ing herself at him for fake interview question answers he gave her made me think "OK, so I'd say what he just said .... and I can't stop myself from saying stupid stuff".



s'good to watch though. Entertaining.

I'm really not a fan. I remember watching an episode of Fairy Jobmother two years ago, there was a long-termed unemployed girl and Hayley thought it was a success that by the end of the programme she had found her an unpaid work experience placement on the make-up counter in Boots. Hmmmm, brilliant Hayley - expert job finder extraordinaire!! The unemployed girl was lovely, with excellent manners and willing to learn - yet Boots had her working there for free for weeks, if not months. Not sure if they ever employed her, good enough to sell their products to valued customers but not to be paid for it....nice one Hayley.

She means well I think. She claimed a while back that all the people she got jobs for were still in employment... that was false, I even backed it up with the persons Facebook profile to show they were now unemployed.

What was the ending? I fell asleep. I thought that as well - the baby sleeping in a drawer but they had a pup?? Bloody outrageous. There does seem to be a scary amount of poverty in the US at the moment though - didn't panorama a few weeks back report on camps being set up at roadsides - return to Hooverville..

The girl ended up getting a job but is now a SAHM....
The guy got a job in car sales. I like the programme but very unrealistic. Generally the companies will give people jobs for good publicity. If the cameras werent there i often think there would be a different outcome.

Interesting.
I think she should have stayed in UK and done a follow up programme about the people she 'helped' in the first series.

I do like watching , it is entertaining, though she does talk aload of bull poop:rotfl:but i cant hate the old coot for making money & milking the yanks with her brand of super 'unemployment' nanny TV:T
