I thought if someone was getting AA the carer can get CA. But I have heard of someone who said the reason the CA was turned down was because the person cared for was getting AA..... that didn't make much sense to me, can anyone enlighten me?

  • thats not right,providing the carer earns less than £100 a week(after certain deductions)cares for 35 hours or more a week and doent get an overlapping benefit(state pension is one example)then CA should be paid
