Aquis APR

in Credit cards
I've just been accepted for an Aquis card. I applied for it because of the headline APR of 29.8%. I know this is high but I'm still in the sub-prime market and it's cheaper than some of my other cards. Unfortunately, I have been offered the card at 39.9%. I have accepted it because I need it at the moment but I plan to close it soon. Whilst I know my credit score isn't great, I would have though it was good enough for the better interest rate. Just out of curiosity, if anyone else has this card, did anyone get an APR of 19.9% or 29.8%?
