we moved into a new property end may last year and had a new bt landline installed i paid 12 months line rental up front and pay monthly for the call package,also took £10 a month unlimited broadband from them
i have a feeling that the BB was an 18 month contract,but would the line rental/call package be a 12 or 18 month contract?

The CONTRACT carries on until you cancel it. If you mean what was the minimum term obligation, it is usually 12 months for the phone line and 18 months for BB, although depending on the package taken out, it could be the same 18 months for both.0
