Hello
I hope that somebody will be kind and explain to me what I need as I am not very good with these things and don't want to get ripped off !!
I have a sky wireless router in one room but my tv is 2 rooms away but on the same floor - old house so the signal doesn't reach. I have an internet tv now so i would like to get the internet working in that room . I also would like to be able to access sky anytime + which I can't at the moment .
I have heard of homeplugs but would they work ?? Not really sure what they are or how they work
Any advice would be gratefully received
many thanks

Yes homeplugs would work, use them myself. They use your mains wiring to extend an Ethernet connection.
I have a pair of these.

Since you want to connect both your Sky box and your TV you might want to move the router near the TV.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

Good advice.
I use these; http://www.solwise.co.uk/net-powerline-pl-85pe-mk2.htm
There are other manufacturers such as TP-link, etc. Have a look on the Solwise site, they specialise, and may give you an idea of versions/alternatives etc.0
