Monkeys like that will be all they will get for the peanuts they pay.
They really are pathetic.0 -

So, the idiot didn't use "141" to hide his number? As it's now in your phone and in the public domain, you really ought to post it somewhere, so that other potential victims can bar it. And, of course, test calls will have to be made, 24/7, to ensure that it's still in use.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

In a world in which basic phones are given away and sim cards are free, this moron's number is hardly worth bothering with.0

I too have received one of these letters on behalf of Parking Eye, for the sum of £177.00, threatening to pass the matter on to their solicitor Graham White. I also received a call on my mobile from them asking me to confirm my name and address, which I refused to do. I received the call before I had the letter. I have read the posts regarding this and understand that I can ignore the letter and any subsequent letters from the solicitor. I realise that Parking Eye pay the DVLA for my registration details, but who gives them my mobile number? I haven't contacted either of these companies in any way, so they haven't got it from me. Anyone know?0

192.com? That or any other mobile directory. Some companies ask if you want to be excluded when you sign up to a new phone. It's a tiny box, much like the parking charge details on a car park sign.
Plus, if you're on contract, I've heard the number could show on Experian etc. Don't think parking companies should be able to legitimately check this - they're not a creditor - but I wouldn't be suprised if it happened.0 -
Just use rude and vulgar abuse if they call, never failed.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

How dim am I? I knew that my landline was in the directories, but thought that mobiles were not.0

For a very basic check, Google your number and surname. See if there are any hits. You might be suprised - the source might be your Facebook/LinkedIn page or similar.0

Oh, and, sippacik, you can't ignore any letters from a Solicitor.
Because you won't be getting any, only from Graham White.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
