Reclaim PPI - letter from lender

I had a loan with Northern Rock on which I had PPI but had paid off last year. I have received a letter from Northern Rock asking inviting me to reclaim the PPI if I felt I had been misold it. There is no mention of cost/charge in the letter, should I go with NR or use all the templates that Martin has provided and do it myself?

Go with Northern Rock, did they send you a questionaire? Santander contacted me with a questionaire whcih I filled in some 5 weeks later I had £14k sitting in my bank account.0
