    think i'm ill with tescoitis

i keep seeing love hearts on clip strips in Asda, my heart skips a beat then i feel sick and storm out the shop when i remember it's not a T's

yesterday i saw 6 boxes full of malteser bunnies for 68p each in the co-op ................what a rip off

may be worth keeping a sneaky peak at easter items in other shops, i did get lots of xmas tree decs in asda for 2p last yr however a whole 100% more tha T's were charging :rotfl:

I knew one of the doctor's in the house would know what it was called. :T

Had a bout of this on saturday, boxes of TPOs and Caramel Bunnies in Boots and clipstrips of Lindt bags in Budgens makes your heart skip a beat doesn't it. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening all.
Phew! just about managed to catch up.
Feeling a lot more human today ...so have been out for a meal tonight to see my inlaws who have just returned from a holiday in Russia.
First time I've been anywhere at all for over a week!!
Been prescribed some new migraine preventative meds (pizotifen) so hopefully these might work. If they don't I think there's only one more left to try....so fingers crossed.
Yesterday was the migraine from hell......the banging your head against a wall type, but today has been virtually headache free.....and what a difference....I might have even managed to smile :) (although my husband will swear it was just wind;))

My GP is still happy for me to drive as long as I continue to get warnings of the vertigo attacks and can pull over if necessary. I've never had to do this as I don't go anywhere if I'm having a bad day.
I'm still not feeling ready to face T's though, and although I'd love some socks I don't think it's worth risking making myself ill trying to find some. I always end up with a headache after shopping and driving and I don't want to risk another week like I've just had......

Thanks for all the kind words.....I'll try not to be a misery guts from now on. Just give me a good kick up the bum if I go quiet again :)

    Awwww Purdy :Axxxx

So pleased to hear that today was tonnes better for you. :( I know that feeling all too well. I think I've tried pizotifen myself, if not it's Mum that's tried it! :o (Yes house resembles a pharmacy!) So fingers crossed it's the one for you and begins making things much more bearable. It really is horrendous when you wake up one day after another just hoping with everything you have it'll be gone and oops there it is again :(

Fabulous that you got out and about today though and I hope you enjoyed the meal :A

And I'm even more pleased to hear that your GP is still happy for you to drive because being where you are it's an absolute must if you want to venture out! xxx

Look forward to hearing your progress smiley-signs003.gif xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

HC - Bloomin codswallop indeed! So glad you're getting some answers though. Shame you couldn't get it today but hopefully tomorrow?

SpirallingDown - :( Sorry to hear your DS is still struggling and you're facing another cram packed day fitting everything in with him in tow :( Hope you get a little more sleep tonight and DS is feeling better in the morning so that even if you have to take him with you, he's not playing too much on your mind :Axxx And I'm so sorry for your friend :( How lovely of you to support her so well when she's the other side of the world! I also envy the strength people can draw from their faith. Like you, I'm not religious myself but there have been many times in my life where I have wished that I could have believed in a higher power having bigger and better plans for me, I think that would be wonderful to have such belief.

mharzuk+blondy - Put your coats back in the closet this second! The Elite need you! :D

tessietwo - Thank you for letting us know about the Aero trees:T ....and the Cadbury Wishes :mad::eek: Why oh why aren't they 1p yet? (I don't even have any in my local but am just frustrated at the lack of common sense in pricing! :p)

JJ - Lovely to hear from you :A Thank you very much. I really want to have a few experiments with unusual ingredients including courgette. I also fancy trying chocolate cake with beetroot and also chocolate cake with mayonnaise ;):D I wanna try making brownies with TCO. Your cookathon sounds wonderful, well done you, now that's multi-tasking!! Hope you feel proud of what you've accomplished :T

FK - Stunning pics as always. You caught the sun rays beautifully in the 2nd pic and I really like the black and white effect too, works well with the water reflections :A Sorry about your hamster :( xx

Lutzi - Thank you sooooooooooo much for your PMs and so sorry I haven't replied yet, I will, I promise!! x

skinandblister - So pleased Chicken is hanging in there :Axxxx

    Tell me about it. :(

Yeah, hopefully tomorrow but it's not somewhere I've been before, well not fully clothed and full of people anyway but enough about that.:eek: but it's quite important and should have been sent away yesterday so I don't really have a choice other than go and get it. I could wait for them to post it only for it to get lost in their internal mail for a week. :(

I remember all these! I was "too chicken" to fully join in DTD. I did it twice and thought that I was a thief! I remember Celebrate asking questions about what to do with tinned salmon! It was so funny. Sir Brainy was very much in charge of the thread especially when buying wine!
