Had this problem with Swinton car insurance! renewal £460 with £50 cashback after 3 months. So i went to go compare, came up with Swinton being the lowest, with all the same details for £285:eek:
Cancelled old policy and started new one with the same branch!!!
    Go figure!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our branch wouldn't match the price on the internet.
cancelled & went with Admiral @ £50 cheaper - they called us trawling for buisness!!
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

Branch wouldn't price match, just done it online, but all details are in the same branch!!
  • Did you call them?
we did with the AA & got it the same price as if we were new customers & quidco.
Kept our extras for being a loyal customer - extra call outs I think

I did last year and they said they could match the quidco price but I wouldnt get the cashback. Quidco gave me £40 so it was a no brainer.

Not sure where it lists any extras on my policy. I only go for rescue and recovery

Found a receipt with 81 clubcard points on. The stupid weather has destroy the receipt, well kinda. It's in half but I'm wondering if I can get away with putting the points on? I might upload a picture later. I've been trying to fix it and dry it up.

What we womblers have to put up with:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I found one last week, swimming in a puddle. :p The BC at the bottom had faded, the SA couldnt scan it but entered the numbers in manually.. I got my 99 points :T its always worth a try.. ;)

Thanks :) I think I'll go for it!
I'll fold it in half a few times so they can see the barcode when handed over. Then if they unfold it, it might tear. And I'll blame them for tearing my receipt :rotfl::rotfl:
