Thank you HC for the advice re oil boiler will get the filters checked before I get oil delivered.
I can finally say I got the 4p socks and the mint Aero lambs :j I also got a pack of Smarties mini eggs too :T
Picked up the sweets and 3 packs of the socks from Spr1ngh1ll Bangor and then picked up 3 more packs of socks in Kn0cknag0n3y. My Mum was with me and she asked why I was getting them, told her that she should know by now why I get random things and to see what they go through the till at. It was quite funny watching the look on her face but thought I was going to get the socks taken off me by SA on SS tills as the socks wouldn't register on the scales yet the lambs did  SA just scanned his barcode thing and walked offSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

I have a filing system like yours only mine is more compact, it consists of the smallest bag I could find and have shoved as many reciepts as possible in there. They only progress to the coveted plastic wallet if they're worth anythingSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

I've no experience of the fixed wire retainer that's used after the "train tracks" come off (in the video), but both my boys had train tracks and occasionally the wire would come loose. On phoning the orthodontist for an appointment I would be told that they should use retainer wax to cover the offending wire until it could be fixed.
So you could use some of this in the first instance, but I would go back to your orthodontist as it's his/her job to make sure your brace is fitted right. I can't see that they could justify any extra cost as surely this comes within the overall treatment price.
It's only a game
